Restoring Lost Mobility:
The ability to move pain-free through normal ranges of human motion is one of the single most important aspects of any fitness protocol. Unfortunately, conventional fitness wisdom often ignores this critical aspect of health and human performance.
Stretching won’t fix it, big-box gym machines won’t fix it, and overlooking the basic health of tendons, joints, and ligaments while continuing to “go hard” in the gym significantly increases the risk of injury; this means lost training time, and lost results.
If you are a fitness instructor, or just an everyday athlete looking for simple ways to move your body better without pain, this is the workshop for you!
In this 8-hour workshop, you will learn…
How to use specific breathing techniques to relax the neurological stretch-reflex and find mobility you didn’t even know you had!
How to use simple joint mobility drills, in place of conventional warmups, to increase mobility without adding any additional training time to your session.
How to use simple tools to perform myofascial release to unlock stiff muscles, get out of pain, and increase range of motion; it’s like getting a massage every day!
Drills, exercises, progressions, and regressions to be able to advance from any starting point.

Mastering the Kettlebell Basics:
In many gyms, kettlebells are typically used very poorly. Sometimes they are used for muscle-isolation training (every time someone in the U.S. does a bicep curl with a kettlebell, a soviet child dies), and other times they are used as a door stop to hold the gym door open. Occasionally, you will see someone trying to mimic the ‘real’ kettlebell moves they saw on YouTube, but it ends up looking more like the ‘gym fail’ videos instead. This is where you, the professional, step in. Knowing how to distill a technical movement into a simple step-by-step progression, that leaves you and/or your client looking like a seasoned pro, not only makes them look and feel good, but makes you look good as well.
In this 8-hour workshop:
You will have a firm grasp of how to perform the three main kettlebell lifts: The swing, goblet squat, and Turkish getup. But more importantly, you will understand how to progress and regress these three lifts into principle-based movement patterns that can be adapted to virtually any person or modality.
You will learn time-tested programming principles, as well as how to use the kettlebell to provide an all-in-one solution for building strength, burning fat, and building a bulletproof cardio base. This will not only enhance your own training sessions, but you will also learn how to design great kettlebell classes!
You will learn advanced programming techniques to help you adequately prepare, if you wish to further advance your kettlebell game, and attend one of our 3-day Level 1 kettlebell certifications
You will receive an extensive illustrated manual with all the information covered throughout the day. Retention can be tough in an all-day workshop, so we want to send you home with something you can refer back to.
Mastering the ‘Big 3’
Despite the popularity and beneficial nature of the three power lifts, more often than not these fundamental exercises are poorly performed, programmed, and implemented. This results in poor performances, lack of goal attainment, and high injury rates. Jerry has coached numerous athletes to break state, national, and world records, and his team has won the 100% RAW Federation Master’s National Team Championships 3 times in a row. In this full-day clinic, Jerry will cover everything from basic set-up, performing the lifts in ways that are the most optimal for each individual, and how to safely program for progress while avoiding injury.
In this 8-hour workshop:
You will develop a deeper understanding of optimal lifting technique for the squat, bench press, and deadlift, as well as common variants and assistance drills for all three lifts.
You will learn the time-tested programming principles and strategies that Jerry has developed to coach and advance numerous record-breaking powerlifters.
You will learn how to meet an athlete where they currently are, regardless of current capability, and advance them to the next level.
